He's level headed and has a nice balance of logic and emotion which is something you don't really see in real men these days (😭) And he's laid back and likes bugs. Frank and Eddie are heavily implied to be a couple, something Clown has confirmed. However, the "canon" Welcome Home media and the comments of the WHRP push Frank x Julie, posing a contradiction between who the characters are and what they are scripted to be. Many people have pointed this out as a viable reason for Eddie to be erased.

clown has said inclusiveness is one of the main themes of WH because they are neurodivergent/LGBTQ+ themselves! there is a welcome home pride art piece depicting eddie with his signature rainbow tie, julie in a dress with genderfluid colors, poppy with a trans bandana/scarf, and frank with a non-binary colored suit and gay baking apron.
