BANGKOK: Thailand's meteorological department warned of the strong impact caused by tropical storm Wipha starting from Tuesday (July 22), as the country has experienced strong winds, rainfall and rough seas that have already claimed the lives of two Chinese tourists.
Typhoon Wipha has battered parts of Asia and is expected to make landfall again tomorrow after returning to the ocean.
The tropical cyclone made landfall in mainland China late Sunday afternoon with winds near to those of a Category 1 Atlantic hurricane.
