Not quite the early Christmas surprise that Nancy Meyers was expecting, 'The Holiday' is getting a limited series reboot.

Her film “The Holiday,” starring Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jude Law and Jack Black, has become a holiday movie staple since its release in 2006. The rom-com sees Winslet and Diaz’s characters swap houses in the United States and England over the holidays and find love connections with Black and Law’s characters.

"Imagine my surprise when I opened Instagram and this was the first post I saw," the filmmaker said of the project's announcement.
