The Dallas Wings rookie and UConn women’s basketball legend threw out the first pitch at the Texas Rangers game against the Kansas City Royals on Wednesday. She’s no stranger to throwing out first pitches, as she’s took the mound in her home state of Minnesota ahead of a Twins game last season.

The former UConn women's basketbal l superstar threw out Wednesday's first pitch at the Texas Rangers game surrounded by her Dallas Wings teammates. Bueckers wore a custom No. 5 Rangers jersey with her name on the back as her pitch flew perfectly down the middle.

Bueckers — with her Dallas Wings teammates beside her — threw out the first pitch prior to Wednesday’s game between the Texas Rangers and Kansas City Royals at Globe Life Field. She tossed a strike to Rangers first base coach Corey Ragsdale and to her delight “didn’t hit the dirt.”
