A hearse containing the musician’s body traveled along Birmingham’s Broad Street and made its way to the Black Sabbath Bridge and bench.

Tens of thousands of people lined the streets of the central England city where Black Sabbath was formed to catch a glimpse of the heavy metal icon’s hearse.

The metal icon will be laid to rest at a private ceremony in his hometown in the Midlands later in the day on Wednesday (July 30).
