After a viral online organizing campaign, hundreds rallied in Olympia Wednesday, protesting President Donald Trump and Elon Musk as part of a national day of action.

Many people still showed up amid freezing temperatures despite the local Democratic committee trying to cancel the rally over fear that "bad actors" would infiltrate the event to cause problems.

Nearly 150 people demonstrated at the Tennessee Capitol on Wednesday afternoon as part of a nationwide effort called the "50501" protest, which called for protests against the Trump administration at all 50 states' capitols on the same day.

Demonstrators gathered in cities across the U.S. to protest the Trump administration's early actions, along with Elon Musk and Project 2025.
