Video posted to social media showed passengers evacuating the aircraft using a slide as smoke and flames billowed from below the rear of the plane.

Passengers on an American Airlines flight departing from Denver International Airport Saturday were evacuated after a “possible landing gear incident,” according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

All 173 passengers and crew evacuated safely, with one minor injury. Passengers used emergency slides amidst flames and smoke.
