US President Donald Trump has attacked Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) shortly after it named a new chief executive and as it undergoes a divisive rebranding. Trump said on social media on Monday that JLR was in "absolute turmoil" and its boss had left the firm “in disgrace".

We now know for sure President Trump isn’t a fan of Jaguar’s controversial rebranding, calling it “stupid and seriously woke.” While the British automaker hasn’t reversed direction yet, it ditched the ad agency which executed the rebrand campaign and the CEO recently resigned.

The US president just breathed new life into the saga of Jaguar’s controversial 2024 attempt to rebrand itself, slamming the advertising campaign as ‘woke’ and claiming its failure caused the company’s CEO to resign in disgrace.
