Liverpool has signed France forward Hugo Ekitiké from Eintracht Frankfurt to continue the Premier League champion’s offseason spending spree.

Liverpool have signed French striker Hugo Ekitike from Eintracht Frankfurt, the Premier League side announced on Wednesday, with media reports saying the deal was worth 69 million pounds ($93.65 million) plus add-ons.

Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Krosche says he's "delighted" Hugo Ekitike has earned a move to Liverpool after 18 months with the Bundesliga side. The 22-year-old becomes the Reds' seventh signing of the summer after completing a deal worth a potential £79m from Frankfurt on Wednesday.
