Well, for what it’s worth, Thibodeaux doesn’t sound worried about Carter — who the Giants just drafted third overall — eventually taking his job. Thibodeaux said Tuesday he is “super excited” about the Giants picking Carter. “I think he’s a great player,” Thibodeaux said. “We can use him in a lot of different ways.”

O’Hara was a keen observer during his 11-year NFL career, the final seven seasons spent with the Giants. He was the starting center on the beloved Super Bowl XLII championship team, was named first-team All Pro in 2008 and was voted in three times as a Pro Bowler.
