GORMAN, Calif. — Firefighters were battling a wildfire along Interstate 5 north of Los Angeles early Thursday, officials said.

Fire officials say the blaze is threatening power lines as well as the communities of Hasley Canyon and Hathaway Ranch.

The blaze had stopped growing at 5,370 acres as it burned near Castaic and the Los Angeles and Ventura county line.

Evacuation warnings were lifted in Los Angeles County Saturday morning for the 5,370-acre Canyon Fire straddling the Los Angeles-Ventura county line near Val Verde west of Castaic, authorities said.
