A carriage horse collapsed and died in Hell's Kitchen on Tuesday afternoon. It happened at around 2:30 p.m. at 51st Street and 11th Avenue. Video from the scene shows the horse on the ground as workers dragged the dead animal into a trailer. The horse, carriage, and driver all fell into the street, witnesses said.

On Tuesday, a carriage horse in Manhattan collapsed and died on the way to its stable, according to a local union. Authorities learned of the incident around 2:30 p.m. after receiving a 911 call requesting assistance at the corner of West 51st Street and 11th Avenue in midtown.

The sad scene happened nearly three years to the day that Ryder shockingly collapsed and had to later be put down.
