It’s been 17 years since the first ‘Camp Rock’ movie was released, but since Demi’s reunion with the Jonas Brothers, fans are wondering if a third film could happen.

The band - consisting of brothers Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas - kicked off their 20th anniversary tour on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in their home state of New Jersey. But to make it more special, they surprised their fans with some special guests throughout the show, including Demi Lovato.

Industry insider Daniel Richtman also claimed in a June Patreon post that “Camp Rock 3” is in the works with “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series” creator Tim Federle at the helm. He reported that the movie will feature a new character named Sage.
