Everton are planning to send loanee Armando Broja back to Chelsea after the striker picked up an injury that will keep him out for 10-12 weeks.

There was brief hope that Armando Broja’s ankle injury was not as bad as initially feared but it looks like the 23-year-old will just about miss the rest of the season after all, as he’s expected to be out for 10-12 weeks according to the latest word from Everton.

Boss David Moyes is sympathetic towards Broja, who has an ankle injury that will keep him out for three months. However, Moyes wants to sign a replacement on loan and cannot do so without releasing Broja.
