Wayne Mills was the leader of the outlaw country Wayne Mills Band, which toured nationally. He was shot and killed on Nov. 23, 2013, in a bar in downtown Nashville after a confrontation with the bar owner, Chris Ferrell. He was 44 years old. Ferrell was later convicted of his second-degree murder and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Wade Bowen has a message for fans after he and his band were in a bus crash in Texas over the weekend: “Call your mom.” The country music singer said took to social media and shared he and the band were traveling from Austin to Lubbock and were involved in a crash with a car.
