The La Crosse Regional Airport is gearing up with new plans to attract competing airlines and a new restaurant for travelers.

Riders moving through Union Station will now need to TAP their card or scan a valid Metro fare to enter and exit the station.

Turnstiles will be latched at both entrances and exits to rail lines where riders will have to scan valid Metrolink fares.

The policy aims to ensure all riders pay their fare and is part of a broader effort to enhance safety and reduce crime on the Metro system.
