Google Calendar has irked some users after dropping a host of events from its holiday list, including Pride Month, Black History Month and Jewish Heritage.

Prime Month and other diversity holidays have been removed from Google Calendar, with Google saying that the change happened months ago.

Google said that maintaining hundreds of moments manually and consistently globally wasn't "scalable or sustainable".The changes come amid broader shifts in its approach to DEI.
