The Rainbow PUSH Coalition is standing with Texas Democratic lawmakers who fled their state to halt a redistricting vote.

A new Texas law taking effect September 1 will make it harder for small groups to block property development by zoning protests. Lawmakers hope it will also help ease the housing shortage.
