For the second game in a row, the PWHL Finals saw overtime. However, thanks to a couple of goals from Britta Curl-Salemme, the Minnesota Frost were able to come away with a 2-1 win this time, evening the series at a game apiece.

For a third-straight game in the PWHL Finals between Minnesota and Ottawa, regulation wasn’t enough. On Saturday night, the Minnesota Frost needed triple overtime to beat the Ottawa Charge 2-1. Rookie forward Katy Knoll scored the game-winning goal midway through the third overtime period.

Katy Knoll played the triple-overtime hero for the Minnesota Frost, scoring 9 minutes, 57 seconds into the third extra session for a 2-1 victory over the Ottawa Charge in Game 3 of the PWHL Finals on Saturday at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.
