India’s response to the Pahalgam attack was swift, strategic and unyielding. Operation Sindoor combined surgical military strikes with bold diplomatic and economic measures, sending an unmistakable message: terrorism will not be tolerated.

India carried out precision strikes targeting specific terror bases in Pakistan and PoK, which were used to plan and launch attacks against India.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Saturday (10 May) said that Pakistan reached out to India, and the two countries negotiated and agreed to a ceasefire. This comes after days of military escalation and heightened tensions between the neighbours.
