National Guard troops have begun arriving in Los Angeles on orders from President Donald Trump to stamp out protests that have broken out in recent days against federal immigration authorities seeking to carry out deportations in the region.

As the military presence ramped up in Los Angeles, communities are preparing for the largest protests against Trump since he took office.

The LAPD and other agencies are aggressively clearing the streets of downtown LA, where protestors had pushed up against police lines.

While tensions escalate as protests against ICE continue to grip major cities, "No Kings" demonstrations are underway across the U.S.
