The war moved into a potentially more volatile phase when the United States bombed three nuclear sites in Iran. On Sunday, Iran launched more missiles at Israel and vowed to defend itself.

ATHENS, Greece — The United States inserted itself into Israel’s war against Iran, bombing three of the Islamic Republic’s key nuclear sites overnight. U.S. President Donald Trump asserted that the sites were “completely and fully obliterated,” and warned there would be additional strikes if Iran retaliates.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that any military action by the U.S. in the escalating war with Israel would be "very, very dangerous for everybody."
