NORTH PLATTE, Neb. (KNOP) - A late afternoon thunderstorm system brought heavy rainfall and hail to the North Platte area. A flash flood warning was issued Wednesday around 3:50 p.m. by the National Weather Service with rain falling at a rate of 1 to 3 inches an hour.
