One Packers insider claimed that the team's hype over rookie wide receiver Matthew Golden has reached unprecedented levels.

For Brian Gutekunst, Matthew Golden's smooth adjustment to the pro environment and a consistency of making big plays at practice have been good signs.

"When we faced him last year, I felt like if you could get to him, you could rattle him," an NFL defensive coach told Mike Sando of The Athletic. "He distributes the ball, and they have big skill (players who are) tough to bring down. That is how he makes his hay. I do not watch him and think, 'Oh, he is f--king people up.'"

Love has all the talent, Packers coach Matt LaFleur said, but the QB still needs to do two things to prove himself: stay healthy and win.
