Police say Ikner is the man who conducted a mass shooting at Florida State University in April. He faces two murder charges and seven attempted murder charges.

Jury selection for accused FSU gunman Phoenix Ikner is set to begin in November. But experts say the date could change.

"I've looked at my calendar, and at this point, I see no reason not to set this for trial," Circuit Judge Lance Neff said.

A trial date has now been set against the suspected FSU shooter, Phoenix Ikner. In court on Wednesday, the judge set a date for November 3rd, 2025.
