The United States prevailed over Switzerland 1-0 in overtime of the final of the ice hockey world championship on Sunday.

Amid the celebrations on the ice, the U.S. players displayed Johnny Gaudreau’s jersey to honor the forward who was killed with his brother Matt in late August while riding their bicycles.

Team USA defeated Switzerland 1-0 in overtime Sunday at the Avicii Arena in Stockholm, Sweden, to win the gold medal.
