Karnataka State Cricket Association officials Shankar and Jairam resigned taking the “moral responsibility” for the Bengaluru stampede tragedy, but said their “role was very limited" to facilitating RCB's IPL celebration.

KSCA president Raghuram Bhat, secretary Shankar and treasurer Jaiaram had submitted in HC that the gate management and crowd management were not the responsibility of the association.

RCB marketing head Nikhil Sosale was arrested Friday at Kempegowda International Airport, along with Sunil Mathew of DNA, an event management firm involved in the event.
