CLEVELAND, Ohio — Guardians starting pitcher Ben Lively will be examined by team doctors Tuesday after leaving Cleveland’s 5-0 win Monday against Milwaukee following just three innings and 45 pitches.

Right-hander Ben Lively was placed on the 15-day injured list by the Cleveland Guardians on Tuesday due to a strained right flexor tendon

The Cleveland Guardians have lost starting pitcher Ben Lively due to a right arm injury. Zak Kent has been called up from Triple-A Columbus to take his spot on the roster.
