Northern Lakes season came to an end Feb. 11 as host Fergus Falls won 9-2 in the semifinals of the Class 5A hockey playoffs.

On Feb. 10, the Caledonia City Council voted to place a military tribute rock in North Park, marking a major step forward for a community-led effort to honor veterans.

The building, which has not yet been named, would replace the age-worn Poinsettia Apartments that were built in 1966.
