It's a noteworthy SpaceX launch day — with a Falcon 9 rocket first-stage booster attempting to land on a drone ship in the Bahamas for the first time. SpaceX is now targeting 6:15 p.m. EST to launch the Falcon 9 from Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

SpaceX is targeting Tuesday evening for a launch of 23 Starlink satellites out of Cape Canaveral. Liftoff is expected for 6:15 p.m., with backup launch opportunities through 9:35 p.m. The satellites will launch to low-Earth orbit from Space Launch Complex 40 on the east coast of Florida.

Depending on weather and clouds, rocket launches from Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral can be seen from Daytona Beach to Melbourne to Vero Beach
