The driver of a vehicle that crashed Tuesday on Southfield Freeway near Plymouth Road has died, troopers report.

A Dearborn man died in a rollover crash Tuesday on the Southfield Freeway in Detroit, Michigan State Police said. Troopers were called at about 1 p.m. to an area on the freeway near Plymouth Road for a report of a rollover crash, officials said.

The Dearborn man was seen driving at a high-rate of speed before losing control and flipping his car. He landed on the Southfield Freeway embankment.
