The first game of the 2025 NFL season has been announced, as the reigning Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles will host the rival Dallas Cowboys at Lincoln Financial Field on Thursday, Sept. 4.

Kansas City's social media team posted to X following the Christmas Day announcement. "Let's make this the loudest silent night of all time," Kansas City Chiefs X account posted on Monday night.

The league announced seven International Games across five countries in 2025.

The NFL announced that the full 2025 NFL schedule will be released on Wednesday, May 14th at 8 p.m. ET.

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to host the first game of the 2025 NFL season, the NFL kickoff game, on Thursday, Sept. 4.
