A second person has been accused of helping a suspect wanted in the shooting of an Orange County deputy sheriff.
A statewide Silver Alert has been issued in southern Indiana for a woman believed to be in "extreme danger." The Floyd County Sheriff's Office issued the alert Thursday for Sandra Hebert, 63, of New Albany.
According to INDOT, the vehicle fire happened on I-265 East at about 8:30 a.m. As of 4:30 p.m., all lanes of I-265 between Paoli Pike, State Street and Grant Line Road have been reopened.
Indiana State Police (ISP) has arrested another person believed to be "instrumental" in helping the man who shot an Orang County sheriff's deputy get across state lines. On Jan. 3, Deputy Zach Andry was shot multiple times by Austin Schepers.

She was driving a tan 2006 Toyota Avalon with Indiana license plate D407GV.

NEW ALBANY, Ind. — A southern Indiana woman was arrested Thursday after police say she helped a man wanted for shooting an officer by ordering him a Lyft from her house. Victoria Howard, 35, of New Albany, is currently in Floyd County Jail. She is charged with assisting a criminal (level 5 felony) and false informing (misdemeanor).
FLOYD COUNTY, Ind. (WAVE) - Someone is recovering after being rescued from under a carport that collapsed in New Albany. Firefighters were called to Beechwood Avenue for a collapse report just before 10 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12, according to a social media post from the New Albany Professional Firefighters Union Local 410.
