PITTSBURGH -- Mike Tomlin says he never considered pivoting to Justin Fields as Russell Wilson struggles. Fields returned from an abdominal injury on Saturday to become the team’s backup, and in the early portion of the fourth quarter, the Steelers had just 91 yards of total offense.

During his season-ending press conference, Mike Tomlin said he was still in the process of unearthing what led to the Steelers ' five-game losing streak to close out the 2024 season. Just before and shortly following Tomlin's presser, two reports have come out that have done just that, likely to the head coach's chagrin.
