Breaking: New wildfire reported in Los Angeles County on Jan. 26
A new wildfire was reported today at 3:50 p.m. in Los Angeles County. The wildfire has been burning on private land. Currently, there is no information on the containment of the fire and the cause of it is still undetermined.
Update: Hughes Fire 95% contained, 10,425 acres destroyed in Los Angeles County
Hughes Fire initially started 10:53 a.m. Jan. 22 in Los Angeles County. It has burned 10,425 acres after being active for four days. By Sunday evening, the fire crew succeeded in containing 95% of the wildfire. The cause is, however, still being investigated.
