A man is in critical condition after a shooting in Bridgeport on Sunday. Dispatchers received reports of a shooting in the 600 block of Washington Avenue around 10:30 a.m. Police said one man has been taken to the hospital.

Jessica Reyes of Derby was drunk when she parked in the center median on Route 8 in Bridgeport and then punched a state trooper in the face, police say.
