A driver struck and killed a woman early Sunday afternoon in Berkeley, the Berkeley Police Department said in a press release. The crash occurred shortly before 1 p.m. at the intersection of Ada and California streets. Berkeley Fire Department responders found the woman trapped beneath the vehicle upon arrival.
