President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky are holding a joint press conference at the White House. The press conference is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. Zelensky's first trip to the United States during Trump's second term comes as Trump has made overtures to Russia to end the three-year Russia-Ukraine War.

The expected minerals deal between the countries was also left unsigned as Zelenskyy left the White House, per The AP. "We had a very meaningful meeting in the White House today. Much was learned that could never be understood without conversation under such fire and pressure.
