The Air India plane crash resulted in one of the deadliest aircraft crashes in the world, claiming the lives of 241 souls on board and many others on the ground, with only one survivor successfully walking out of the accident scene.

Indian officials say one person survived the devastating Air India crash in Ahmedabad. Indian media say he's U.K. citizen Vishwashkumar Ramesh.

Viswashkumar Ramesh was the only passenger out of 242 people on board the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner to walk away from the tragedy.
