Following deadly flooding in the Commonwealth, the National Weather Service will release safety information for severe weather throughout the coming week.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear visited the communities that were hit hardest by flooding and severe storms earlier this month.

Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear, in separate announcements late Friday and late Saturday, said the death toll from the recent flooding and severe cold has again increased. Now, 21 Kentuckians have died, Beshear said in posts on X, formerly Twitter.
