Sudden floods triggered by heavy rains have killed more than 400 people across parts of Pakistan, India-administered Kashmir and Nepal, authorities have said, with scores of people still missing.

The death toll from heavy rains and flooding in Pakistan has crossed 300, local officials said on Saturday. Hundreds have been killed in recent weeks as Pakistan experienced more rain than usual during the current monsoon season,

Although the showers and thunderstorms won't be widespread, some areas could see up to 3 inches of rain in a single hour, according to the National Weather Service.
