Sunday is our next First Alert Weather Day. There will be plenty of clouds with rounds of showers and storms throughout the day tomorrow. Humidity spikes again, too, so any downpours will be capable of brief heavy rain. Localized spots of flash flooding are certainly possible wherever the heaviest cells move through.
The system likely won't develop into a tropical depression or storm, and it will likely cool us off after a sweltering few days. Here's more.
The heat dome across the U.S. continues to linger and here in the U.P. we feel some of it as well. Humid and hot air is expected for the rest of the weekend, temperatures in the 80s and dew points in the 70s at times. But we are set to see a front move in Sunday evening bringing heavy rain and storms.
A disturbance is moving into Louisiana and Texas this weekend, but it will still produce rainfall and rip current impacts on the northern Gulf Coast.

Thunderstorms are expected to become widespread as the day progresses. A few storms are possible by mid to late morning while the brunt of the rain should arrive during the afternoon. Most locations will receive up to half an inch of rain, but higher amounts are possible with the stronger, slower moving storms.
The National Hurricane Center said July 25 a large stretch of the Gulf Coast could see heavy rainfall through Sunday morning.
The heat advisory remains in effect until 8 p.m. in portions of central Indiana on July 25, while there's a marginal risk for severe weather the same day. "We call it evaporative
