Philadelphia Waterdogs attacker CJ Kirst exploded for six goals in the National Championship game, helping Cornell defeat Maryland 13-10.

"He's one of the best of all time," Brendan Staub (Garden City) said of CJ Kirst. "So when he settles into a game, it makes everyone else feel a lot more comfortable and gives us the confidence we need.

Kirst scored the final goal into an empty net with 50 seconds to go. It was his 82nd of the season, allowing the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer (247) to tie the single season record of 82.
