Driving in five of the Mets' six runs, Baty also hit two of his four home runs this season. The first was a three-run shot in the fourth inning that pulled the Mets within a run. His second homer of the game went the opposite way for a two-run shot.

It was another great day at the plate for New York Mets third baseman Brett Baty. Despite the Mets coming up short against the Chicago Cubs on Saturday, losing 6-5, Baty once again proved that he belongs in the major leagues.
