The Arkansas State men's basketball team avenged a pair of losses to South Alabama during the regular season by taking down the top-seeded Jaguars 74-71 Sunday night in the semifinal round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.

Arkansas State took on Troy in the conference title game, after splitting a pair of regular-season matchups with the Trojans. The Red Wolf offense was cold in the early going, allowing Troy to build a nine-point lead halfway through the first half.

The Arkansas State Red Wolves play in the Sun Belt Tournament against the Troy Trojans. Sunday's meeting is the first of the season for the two teams.
