Tilman Fertitta's Landry's Inc. shuttered The Flying Dutchman, a staple on the Kemah Boardwalk and waterfront for nearly 50 years, shuttered with its last day coming on New Year's Eve.
The boardwalk is also home to a 50,000-gallon aquarium. Recent visitors likened Kemah Boardwalk to a county fair with an ocean view and said it's a great place to visit if you're traveling with kids.
