With Princess Leia's permission, Han Solo went on a mission with Lando Calrissian to save Cloud City. Upon his return, Han made a vow for himself, Leia, and their son, to spend more time together.

Although Darth Vader forced Lando Calrissian to betray Han Solo and the rest of the Rebels of Cloud City, Calrissian turned on the Empire and assisted the Alliance when the time was right.
