A local musician from Charlotte is taking his shot at stardom in the newest season of “American Idol.” Singer songwriter Josh King will be one of the many artists across the country auditioning for the hit singing competition.

Country music singer and former ‘American Idol’ star Colin Stough is in hot water in Tennessee after he was arrested there during the weekend, according to multiple reports. TMZ reported that Stough, 20, was arrested and charged with DUI, underage consumption of alcohol and failure to exercise due care on Friday.
