The company said it was working on a solution. There were more than 60,000 reports of an outage on Downdetector, a site that logs issues.

T-Mobile's T-Satellite internet service, powered by SpaceX's Starlink satellites, officially launched on Wednesday, July 23. The direct-to-cell messaging service that enables texting from anywhere isn't limited to T-Mobile customers -- AT&T and Verizon mobile customers can also purchase it for $10 a month.

Starlink acknowledged the network outage and said it was working on a resolution. Elon Musk, who runs both Starlink and SpaceX, posted on X that the issue would be resolved shortly and that the service's user base was growing fast.
