Leicester goalkeeper Mads Hermansen has revealed the secret behind saving a penalty from Chelsea star Cole Palmer. Chelsea were awarded a spot-kick midway through the first-half at Stamford Bridge when Jadon Sancho was tripped in the area by Leicester full-back Victor Kristiansen.

Cole Palmer's perfect penalty record came to an end when his spot kick was saved by goalkeeper Mads Hermansen during Chelsea's clash with Leicester City.

Having beaten Southampton 4-0 last time out in the Premier League, Enzo Maresca’s team made it back-to-back victories over relegation-threatened sides at Stamford Bridge, although they were made to work hard for all three points against Leicester, who repelled and frustrated them for long spells.

The good news for Chelsea is that they are proving they can win without Cole Palmer at his best – at least against the Premier League’s relegation fodder.
